For a relatively small conservancy area, there is a wonderful variety of game on M'kepi.
The plain's game includes:
Eland, Kudu, Nyala, Red Hartebeest, Gemsbok/Oryx, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Duiker, Steenbok, Rhebuck, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Klipspringer, Waterbuck, Giraffe, Zebra, Warthog, Baboons, Ostrich and Bushpig.
M'kepi is also home to White Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard, Brown Hyena, Jackal and Cheetah. Spotted hyena have recently been heard.
One might be lucky enough to spot the smaller animals such as the shy Genet, bush baby, civet cat, lynx, porcupine or even the elusive aardvark.
